VPS Cost Calculator

A server’s advertised price is only the starting point for a realistic budget. Use this calculator to estimate compute charges alongside IPv4, backups, extra storage, traffic overage and other recurring fees. Choose hourly or monthly billing, enter your expected usage and add a monthly compute cap only when the provider confirms one. The result separates base compute from your own fee estimates, shows annual cost at the same usage pattern and helps compare billing options. Next, explore recorded VPS base prices near your total in the same currency. Recommendations do not include your custom fees or promise an identical final bill.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How is VPS monthly cost calculated?

Hourly compute equals hourly price × hours per day × days per month, limited by an optional compute cap. Monthly billing uses the monthly base price directly. Recurring fees are added afterward. Annual cost assumes twelve identical months.

Is hourly VPS always cheaper?

No. A simple break-even point divides the monthly base price by the hourly rate. This comparison assumes matching resources and fees; minimum charges, monthly caps and other provider rules can change it.

Do VPS providers charge extra for IPv4?

Some include IPv4; others charge separately. Enter a recurring fee only when it applies to your own configuration. Recommendations show recorded base prices, not a fabricated all-inclusive total.

What is a monthly billing cap?

A cap limits the compute charge for a billing month. Additional services can still cost extra. This calculator never assumes a cap unless you enter one.
